Bonnie Amyotte is a Canadian artist as well as an Occupational Therapist, primarily in paediatrics. Painting has become a release and a reminder of the beauty and hope that surrounds us all.
Her paintings mostly reflect the landscape and animals of Canada seen while camping, hiking, and kayaking. She lives in a small town in Ontario, where the sounds of a great horned owl, screech owl, and coyotes can be heard and the lights of the fireflies can be seen in the forest behind her house.
Her family (including their Old English sheepdog mix) enjoy all the outdoors have to offer from warm summer days in the lake to long snowy walks with the dog in the forest.
