Hannah Cole
Hannah grew up in North Devon, and is now based in Brighton.
She graduated from the University of Brighton in 1994 with a degree in Illustration, and worked in illustration for several years, before starting to exhibit her paintings in their own right.
Now a mum of two, she paints full time from her loft studio in Brighton. She is inspired by her frequent travels to the West Country, as well as the everyday seaside walks around Brighton and beyond. Her paintings depict the charm of Cornish harbours and bring back happy memories of beachside holidays, and her distinctive style is instantly recognisable - (especially with the ever-present wistful dog gazing out to sea! ) She says “people always ask me if that’s my dog in the paintings - sadly not! But my son is desperate for a dog so maybe one day soon…”

This is such a cute card, especially for dog lovers. All cards from Whistlefish are tremendous quality and value for money. I always keep a good supply of various types to cover suitability for family and friends alike.
Excellent value for money - lovely card - it just captures that emotion when you are sitting on the cliff tops.
love this picture as it reminds me of my dog "blue" who passed away this year as he would sit by me looking out to sea when we went on our cliff top walk on holiday.
