Encouraging connection, one thoughtful card at a time, while supporting Cornwall Mind

We all remember to send a card for the big moments. Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations that are already marked in the diary. But it is often the quieter, in-between moments that need a little more care.

This May, as we help raise awareness around mental health and support Mental Health Awareness Week, we are proud to be working closely with Cornwall Mind on a special collection of thoughtful cards, designed to gently encourage us all to check in with one another. Because sometimes, the simplest gesture can mean far more than we expect.

We have all had that thought. “I should reach out.” “I must send a message.” And then the day carries on. But for someone going through a difficult time, whether that is anger, anxiety, grief, loneliness or struggles with self-esteem, a small, unexpected card can feel incredibly reassuring.

Why Cornwall Mind matters to us

Cornwall Mind is a local mental health charity supporting people across Cornwall to improve their wellbeing and feel less alone. While part of the wider Mind network, they are independently funded, meaning every donation goes directly back into helping people within the community.

As a brand rooted in Cornwall, this is something that feels incredibly close to home. Behind the coastal beauty and familiar places, many people are facing challenges that are not always visible. Isolation, rising living costs, and limited access to support can all have a real impact on mental health.

1 in 4 people suffer from mental health

With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem each year, the work Cornwall Mind does is not just valuable, it is essential. Through wellbeing groups, advice, and community support, they help people build confidence, find connection, and take meaningful steps forward.

If you would like to find out more about the work they do and the support they offer, you can read more about Cornwall Mind here.

Why a card can mean so much

There is something about a handwritten card that feels different. It is not rushed. It is not lost in a stream of notifications. It sits there, ready to be opened, read, and even kept close.

And the words do not need to be perfect. A simple “I’m thinking of you” or “you’ve got this” is often more than enough. It is not about saying everything, it is about saying something.

If you ever feel unsure about what to say, you are not alone. A card gives you that little bit of space to find your words, to be thoughtful, and to show you care in a way that feels natural.

A collection created with care

We have created this range to help you take that first step. These are cards for the moments that do not always have a clear occasion, but still matter deeply.

Whether it is to recognise a small personal win, to reach out during a tougher time, or simply to remind someone that they are not on their own, each card is there to carry your message gently.

With every purchase, a portion will be donated to Cornwall Mind, supporting their vital work across Cornwall. You will also have the option to add a donation at checkout if you would like to give a little more.

We’re here to help you find the words

We know that starting can feel like the hardest part. So, throughout the month of May, we will be sharing advice, simple prompts, and real stories across our social channels, focusing on themes such as anger, anxiety, grief, loneliness and self-esteem.

Think of it as a helpful little guide. Something to dip into when you are not quite sure what to write, or when you just need a gentle nudge to reach out.

A little nudge...

If someone has come to mind while reading this, that is usually a good place to start.

It could be a friend you have not spoken to in a while. A family member who might be having a difficult time. Or someone who would simply appreciate knowing they are being thought of.

Pick up a card. Write a few words. Send it.

It might feel like a small thing to you. But to them, it could mean everything.
