Jess Trotman
Born in Devon in 1970 and brought up in a small village next to the river Tavy, Jess was immersed in nature from a young age.
Jess studied Textile design at Falmouth and then Winchester school of Art graduating in 1992 with a BA hons .

This was followed by a successful career as a Textile designer for over 10 years, with designs selling internationally and regularly appearing on the British High Street and featuring in many magazines.
Since moving back to South Devon, Jess has worked as a Floral Artist designing for Greeting cards, Prints, Stationery and Homeware .
Jess's painting is mainly done in watercolour and ink on paper which gives wonderful fluidity and captures light.
Whistlefish has heavily featured Jess's designs on our stand at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show each year.
