Lyn Thompson, Founder & Owner

Whistlefish began over 30 years ago with a paintbrush, a kitchen table in Cornwall and a passion for creating beautiful artwork.

With support from The Prince's Trust, founder Lyn Thompson started designing and selling her own artwork, inspired by the coast, countryside and wildlife that surrounded her. What began as a small creative venture has grown into a much-loved British brand, helping people celebrate life's moments through cards, gifts and art.

Today, Whistlefish remains proudly family-owned, with Lyn's daughter Cathrine leading the business into its next chapter. Together, they continue to champion the creativity, quality and care that have been at the heart of Whistlefish from the very beginning.
