Iris Clelford went to art school in Birmingham, but now lives and paints in Cornwall. Iris was taught to handle oils in the fashion of the old masters, and her love for the medium hasn’t diminished in 40 years.
I searched for a picture of Helford passage and when this came up I immediately fell in love with it. Above my budget but at my age why not. It now sits on my landing and looks down on me when I climb the stairs. Delivery was quick and well packed.
Beautiful colours, very serene. I bough this for my husband who has fond memories of the Helford river. He loves it. It is very large but fits the space well.
This picture perfectly dresses our bedroom wall. The picture is imposing, you can almost feel the gentle undulation of the river and the colours are gentle and warm. It gives a window to a place we love so well.
